    WW2 German Wehrmacht Wooden 'Transportkast' Transport Box 'Gr 1' Size 1 'Fur' for 'Gesch' (Geschoss) Projectile Z (f) Franzoesisch French Case Crate DMC 1944 Code RARE Original small size (16 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches) transit chest for a type of French weapon captured by Germany during the invasion of France.  Many captured pieces were pressed into service both in the invasion of Eastern Europe; as well as, the Atlantic Wall thus requiring war industry to produce munitions for those pieces.  Let the photos do the talking for this original war-time piece / a nice easily displayed piece - the front loop locking piece is missing / the box does not latch.  Complies with all regulations - empty wooden box.
