VTG Beer Stein Music Box with Lid ?Ceramic, Plays - How Dry I Am, Made in Japan.
The music box works. There is some wear and tear from age and use and storage of the stein. It is in very nice condition. Most of the wear is on the bottom parts where the stein sits. There are no tags but from searching the internet the music box is APEX and made in Japan. Not sure if the whole stein is made in Japan or not.

It is a very nice stein in relief with a flute player and a lady next to him possibly dancing to his music and on the other side is a cottage with trees, mountains and a fence. There are cherubs playing trumpets and some designs around the bottom of the stein. Some sites say the lid is plastic, ours seems more like a type of metal. The music box has a wind up with TOYO on it. There are no markings or labels on the bottom. There is a little metal bar that when you set the stein down stops the music and pick it up and it starts playing.
It measures approximately 9 1/2" high x 5 1/2" across including the handle x 4" across the bottom of the stein x 2 3/4" across the top of the stein.
It would make a nice addition to a collection, a nice gift for a special occasion or for yourself.
