    Description

    Nice vintage stamped a 3 and a 1 on the underside of head, double bit phantom bevel Axe Head.   It weighs 2.2 lbs. on my digital scale, 8-1/4 inches from middle bit to middle bit, has a 4-1/8" cutting blade.  Shows some marks from use, has some corrosion light corrosion pitting, and will need to be sharpened.   Vintage axe head and they don't make them like this anymore.
    Pictures show it well and are the main description.
