    Description

    Very unique 2 foot tall beer stein ceramic tankard mug with exquisite painting of a European castle during medieval renaissance period depicting a soldier in an entryway on one side and a renaissance garbed man (minstrel?) on the other, while a romantic couple, presumably a king and queen is in the castle entryway.  The finial on the lid features a figurine of a bearded man with long hair holding his feathered hat in one hand and the hilt of his sword in the other while donned in high boots, a blue outfit and a buckled strap across his body.
    I do not know what country or culture this is portraying- perhaps spain, france, or italy?   I have found no identifying markings of any kind on this awesome drinking tool.
    In excellent condition- no cracks and color looks fantastic.
