    Description

    This is a rare original German WW2 Eastern Front medal with nice original ribbon.  Medal face translated "Winter Battle in the East 1941/42" and the German eagle on the opposite side.  Below the medal ring is a German Stahlhelm on top of a grenade (potato masher). These were awarded to German soldiers engaged at that time on the Russian front in Operation Barbarossa.  I hand picked this one from a reputable German dealer at a Benelux market years ago.  For simplicity, this item is sold only in the US and is not intended for international shipping.  See pictures.
