Just in time for CHRISTMAS !
1991 DUCKS UNLIMITED, WATEREFOWL SERIES; Carolina Collection 5th edition, #  06946;Pewter Lidded Beer Stein: Canada Geese.
This is a very nice porcelain stein; it is 9'' closed, 3 1/8'' across the top, 5 1/2'' at the widest point, and , 4 5/8'' across the base.
the pewter lid has a ceramic inset with a brief descriptiom of  Canadian Geese, the body of the stein is mostly black, with an light tan wicker work design, a woven wicker look handle, which sports the 'DUCKS UNLIMITED', shoulder patch decal on the portion of the handle, where thumb lever for the lid strikes.
The front of the stein has a beautiful picture of a flight of five "Honkers", flying over a pond preparing to land, it's late fall, ice is forming on the edges of the pond, the folige is all but gone, what's left is looking ragged.
You can almost hear the geese talking among themselves ,as they prepare to make the final turn and land. Underneath the picture, is the
"Ducks Unlimited " Logo. This would be an outstanding addition to anyones stein collection.
