    ANHEUSER BUSCH - 1993 " Ganymede" ARCHIVE SERIES -
    The 2nd in the Archive series of steins. This 6 1/2" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Stein depicts a popular turn-of-the-century advertising sign in which Ganymede is being carried aloft to Mt. Olympus, to serve Zeus. The eagle clasps a classic bottle of Budweiser ®, while Ganymede holds a decree stating Budweiser’s superior quality. The pewter lid with ceramic inlay features an antique A&Eagle ® on the thumbrest.
