    Description

I metal detected for 40 plus years starting in the early 1970's while living in Alaska. At the time I worked part time as a big game hunting guide. Had access to a small bush airplane which we used for getting out to the wilderness. We frequently landed near old, closed mines because most of them out in the bush were supplied by small airplanes. Since the metal detector was small and did not weigh much, it went along. I know EXACTLY where this was found. A closed Silver mine which is now part of Denali National Park near Mt McKinley.
It was 30 degrees below zero when we landed and walked into the mouth of the mine. A glint caught my eyes from the flashlight, and there were small very tiny Silver Crystals on the mine wall. If the original miners saw them, they didn't bother because they were so small.
Probably only a few pennies worth of Silver content. There was no heat in the back seat of that airplane. Doing 100 miles an hour, every little crack around the door and windows made me freeze like I was in a blizzard. I am just charging you for how badly my bones and joints still ache from the cold that day. Will be shipped in either a gem jar or small magnifying cube with cellophane tape sealing it securely closed. This is a rare and unique gift from Mother Nature. It is incredibly shiny for being natural. My main reason for selling is my days are running out. Somebody else will appreciate and love the beauty of what Nature can make.
Penny not included, shown for scale only.  I'm keeping it, I need the money.
